Merry Christmas, 2008!

Merry Christmas! Our cards still have not arrived, so you will all be getting them late this year. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right? At least we all know now that I am not perfect...KIDDING! Anyhow, Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all of our family & friends. We feel so very blessed to have you in our lives. We have felt so loved over the past month since the birth of Lyla. Thanks to all of you for your love, support, gifts, meals, phone calls, & visits! We wish you all the best this Christmas season & hope that your holidays are as special as ours have been.

Peekaboo Photos!

I just got these darling pictures back from Peekaboo Photos. They were taken of Lyla Jane at 2 weeks. If any of you are looking for someone to take pictures of you kids, I highly recommend Kate. She is amazing! Check out the link to her blog to see more of her work.

4 Weeks Old

4 weeks old & still cute as ever. Lyla Jane is maintaining her rigorous schedule of eating, sleeping, & pooping. What a tough life!

Private Time

I couldn't find William today so I started to look around the house for him (this usually means that he is getting himself into trouble). You can imagine how hard I started to laugh when I opened the bathroom door & found this! I guess everyone, even a 3-year-old, needs a little "private time" now & then! Of course, Will was reading a "Thomas the Train" book. Classic!

All Aboard!

We went with our dear friends the Gublers to Heber to ride the "Polar Express." The kids were so excited (especially William, who is currrently OBSESSED with trains). Will spent the majority of the train ride looking out the window... Most of the pictures I got of him were of the back of his head. Liv must have recited her Christmas list to me 100 times...She wanted to be prepared to tell Santa! When Santa finally did arrive, Will just kept repeating over & over, "I want trains, I want trains, I want trains." It was pretty funny. Hopefully Santa got the message. Although the train was a little slow (it's not called the Heber Creeper for nothing), we had a great time. It was a fun way to add to the magic of the Christmas season. Thanks for going with us Kristin & Randy! We love you!

Time Flies!!!

I can't believe Lyla is already 3 weeks old! When I was pregnant, it seemed like she was NEVER going to get here & now the time is flying by. I haven't been very good at posting lately...still trying to get down this 3 kids thing! But Lyla is a dream baby. She is getting up just 1 time at night & rarely cries. We are all in baby heaven!

Lyla Jane Lewis

After 9 long months of waiting, our little Lyla Jane is finally here! She was born on Friday, November 14 at 8:02 A.M. She weighed 7 pounds and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is so beautiful and we are all in love. Both mom and baby are doing great!

Happy 3rd Birthday, William!

We celebrated Will's birthday a few days early this year since Lyla would be arriving so close to it. We had a family "Thomas" party (shocker) and then took 4 of his friends to the Barn bounce house. This was the first year Will really understood the whole birthday thing. He was quite pleased with himself and he LOVED being the center of attention!

Happy Halloween!

The kids were both so excited for Halloween this year. Liv wanted to be a Monarch butterfly & Will chose "Thomas." I tried to talk him out of this costume because it looked so horrible in the box...But I have to admit that he actually looked pretty stinking cute! And he was so pleased with himself when he put it on. "I Thomas, I Thomas," he kept yelling! You won't hear me admitting this very often, but I was wrong!

Who's counting?

Only 20 more days to go! But who's counting, right? We can't wait to meet you, Lyla Jane!

Fall Soccer

Liv wanted to play soccer again this fall. Her coach appropriately named the team the "Cheeseheads." Liv definitely was not the star of the team, but she loved it. She was disappointed not to get a goal this season (or any season for that matter). She loved to be with her friends and had a blast! Thanks Annie for being the girls' coach!

Lewis Family Halloween Party

Third Times a Charm!

Gardener Village or bust! Our third trip was just as fun as the first two. This time we went with my cousins & their cute kids. We took a ride with a witch around the village and then went to Arctic Circle to get a square pumpkin for dinner (a tradition that my mom started when my brother and I were little). These cute kids love each other so much.

We Just Cant Get Enough!

Apparently we are Gardener Village junkies! This time we went with some of our neighborhood friends. The kids had a blast riding the horses, feeding the ducks, & just enjoying the beautiful fall day!

First Snowfall!

Liv & Will were so excited to wake up to snow! They put their snow gear on over their pajamas & were outside playing at 8:00 in the morning.

Fall Fun!

Our 1st trip to Gardener Village was with Grandma Linda. We had a blast. Will was very concerned about the witch who crashed into the mill. "Poor old witch," he kept saying. He was a little afraid of the witches this year...He definitely kept his distance.
