The Love of Will's Life

I had always heard about the "train" stage, but I didn't fully appreciate it. It has been going on at our house for several months now. Nate took Will to the hobby shop the other day to see the trains. The owner of the store gave Will this old train. Needless to say, he was thrilled! He hasn't stopped playing with it for the past 48 hours...he even slept with it! I awoke this morning to the sound of its whistle blowing from him pushing it down the hall. If only we could all be so pleased with something so simple!

Twins

I always wanted to have 2 girls so that I could dress them alike. It is proving to be just as much fun as I thought it would be. Olivia gets a big kick out of it. She loves Lyla so much & is a great big sis!

One Funny Kid!

For those of you who know Will, you know what a funny kid he is. He is contantly making us laugh...We don't know what makes him think of the things he does. He reminds me so much of my brother, Ryan. My mom has several similar photos of him from his childhood. I hope that Will keeps his sense of humor...it's contagious!

All Smiles!

Lyla started to smile around 5 1/2 weeks & she hasn't stopped since. She is the happiest baby & has the sweetest disposition. Nate & I fight over who gets to get her when she wakes up. She is all smiles!

Blessing Day

We blessed Lyla Jane on the first Sunday in January. Nate gave her the most beautiful blessing. Thanks to all of our family & friends who came to share this special day with us!

Christmas in January?

I obviously haven't posted in awhile! Here are a few of the highlights from Christmas. We had a wonderful holiday season. It was extra special this year having a new baby in the home. We spent Christmas Eve with the Lewis' and Christmas day with the Coyle's. We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. We love you all!

Dressed in our Christmas Best!

My goal was to get a professional picture taken of the kids in their Christmas outfits. Clearly that never happened so this will have to do!

That is the Ugliest Sweater I've Ever Seen!

We hosted our annual neighborhood "Ugly Sweater" Christmas party and as usual, it was a blast! Everyone really got into putting their outfits together. Here is a sampling of some of the more hideous ensembles. (Sorry Chels, you brought to my attention that I hadn't posted a picture of your "beautiful" sweater, so I added one...Love you!).

I couldn't resist posting these pictures of my adorable niece, Lucy Mae. Isn't she yummy?
